Parking Coach

For international visitors who travel to Lier by coach, a safe halt and parking lane is reserved in the “Netelaan” between 7 am and 2 pm. Please get on and off the bus there and walk to the Pigeon Market.

You reach this parking lane by turning onto the “Aarschotsesteenweg” from the R16 and N10. Then follow the “Arthur Vanderpoortenlaan” in the direction of “Berlaarsestraat”, “Heilige-Geeststraat” and “Rechtestraat”. Before the bridge turn left to “Werf”. You drive to the end of this street, which takes you directly to the “Netelaan”. Here you will find the bus parking lane where you can safely let travelers get off and park your bus.

Coming from the N13 turn right onto the “Berlaarsesteenweg”. Then straight on through “Berlarij”, “Berlaarsestraat”, “Heilige-Geeststraat” and “Rechtestraat”. Before the bridge turn left to “Werf”. You drive to the end of this street, which takes you directly to the “Netelaan”.

From the bus parking, follow the green dashed line to the Grote Markt on foot. This route takes you past the Zimmertoren, one of the most characteristic clocks in Europe.

If you enter Lier by bus along the “Mechelsesteenweg”, turn right to the “Kapucijnenvest”, straight ahead over the “Zimmerplein” and then end up in the “Netelaan“.
