Seller

Selling pigeons at the Pigeon Market Lier is completely free, but the sellers must comply with the following market regulations:

• All the pigeons offered have been vaccinated against Newcastle disease and the sellers must be able to prove this with a vaccination certificate signed by a recognized veterinarian.
• Each seller must create a sales register on which the ring numbers of the sold pigeons and the details of the buyer are noted. A blank example of a sales register can be downloaded and printed below.

Vendors or exhibitors may set up on the Grote Markt between 7 am and 8 am. There is a market master on site who can answer your questions or give you the necessary instructions.

As a seller or exhibitor you may park on the demarcated Grote Markt. It is best to drive via the Florent Van Cauwenberghstraat and turn right at the entrance “Het Moment”. You can then park your car in the green-lined parking spaces.

Please provide trestles yourself on which you can place your pigeon baskets. The organization also places some sales tables which you can use. These are placed on the white lines in the image below.

You leave the Pigeon Market via the same exit “Het Moment” and then turn into the “Lisperstraat”.

We ask the sellers to indicate weekly, at the latest on Thursday, how many pigeons they will offer next sunday on the pigeon market for promotional purposes.
